GUN LOOKING LIKE SMARTPHONE CAUSE SECURITY PANIC.

Have you ever seen a double-barreled handgun that can be folded up to look
like a smartphone is worrying police officers.
The gun was developed by Minnesota startup Ideal Conceal,
the pistol can fold into a palm-sized square smartphone.
“Smartphones are everywhere, so your new pistol will easily blend in with today’s environment,” explains Ideal Conceal, on a post on its website.
“the gun can be hid in plain site since In its locked position it will be virtually undetectable.”

The gun can be safely carried in a purse or simply clipped to anybodies side.
But the gun’s resemblance to a
smartphone is making police officers really nervous,
“In general, the thought of any kind of weapon
that’s disguised, to make not look like a weapon, would be cause for concern,”
said Bill Johnson, the executive director and also the general counsel for the National Association of
Police Organizations.
The Ideal Conceal pistol has a selling price of $395.
The Developer Kirk Kjellberg said he’s already received about 2,500 emails from people who want to buy the handgun.

Kjellberg said as a safety precaution the Ideal Conceal cannot be fired
while in its closed position.
The gun, has the capability to carry two bullets loaded into two barrels, is a .380-caliber derringer that uses a
hammerless firing system.
The gun might be hard to spot but you actually require a concealed carry permit, to have it on you, depending on the state and local laws, which varies widely.

The police and Ideal Conceal website urges all users to always check in with their present state and local concealment laws to avoid any misunderstanding .
