THE WEEKEND SAID TO DROP NEW ALBUM "STARBOY"

Just A year after the release of the massively successful "Beauty Behind the Madness", Abel is said to drop another album titled "STARBOY".
Guess he is leaving all the madness behind too.
Chopping off his trademark locks, the Canadian
Singer announced the album title and also revealed
the cover art. Dressed in all black,
with a blinged-out cross around his neck and his
ring-filled hands holding onto his freshly-cut hair.

The cover photo shot was taken by Nabil, the Photographer has worked with Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and Frank Ocean, and said there’s more shots coming for the fans.

The release of the "STARBOY" album will make it his third studio album. "Kiss Land" was the first album, "Beauty Behind the Madness" Although it was his second album became The
Weeknd’s breakout, spawning a series of hits on
the Hot 100, which included two No. 1 singles (“Can’t
Feel My Face” and “The Hills”), a No. 3 smash
(“Earned It”), a No. 12 hit (“In the Night”), and a
Lana Del Rey collaboration (“Prisoner”), which
peaked at No. 47.

Earlier this month, The Weeknd told VMAN that
STARBOY would be his “best-sounding” album
“I think it’ll be the best-sounding album I’ve ever
done, It’s hard to label the sound
because, when I first came out, nobody would
label it R&B. I just want to keep pushing the
envelope without it feeling forced.
I will be touching on my
relationship with religion, as well as how it ties
into my crazy and materialistic life."
When asked the reason for this he had this to say:
“I wrote
some of these songs while recording Beauty
Behind the Madness , It’s like a
fictional book inspired by true events.”
