Lil Wayne got a lot on his plate even as battling continues to rage on with his former record label Cash Money over financial matters, Lil Wayne finds himself facing a court order on the opposite end of a similar dispute with David Banner.
David Banner a Mississippi rapper and producer recently filed a lawsuit
against Weezy’s Young Money Records, claiming he was owed money for tracks he produced on
Tha Carter III and We Are Young Money.
Lil Wayne was found guilty and a judge ordered Young Money
to pay Banner $164,303.19 as a default judgment because the imprint failed to respond to the
case. The final figure includes interest accumulated over the years.
Wayne is currently at odds with Cash Money in a similar dispute. But In that case the stakes are higher, Tunechi filed a $51
million lawsuit against his label over money he
feels he’s owed.
As of Yesterday, Birdman was ordered
to present financial documents to Weezy in their ongoing legal battle, which has long since evolved into a personal feud.
