Funaab riot Updates: Protest Gaining More Momentum.
• Students Union Excos have used their bus to block the road leading to school.
• Students have also blocked the all roads leading to the university.
• Students who went for overnight reading are trekking back to their hostel.
• The protest don't look like it would be ending soon
All Academic Activities Are Suspensded - Denco
The student union president DENCO while addressing the students at the protest stated that;
•All academic activities including FPY, Pratcicals should be suspended until a lasting solution is found.
•School management should ask the Commissioner of police to come down to the protest.
•School management should write a letter of commitment to the students off campus to show that they are also property of the school from hence forth
If any of this three is not put in place the protest would move to the school gate
Protest currently going on at Gate due to insistent robbery of students at Gate.
The residents of Adejoke were robbed in the early ours of today, with the robbers carting away valuables of the students living in the hostel and inflicting injuries to some of the students at the hostel. It was also reported that there was robbery at Oluwo around 3am today.
Students don't plan on stopping the protest anytime soon.
